I'm sorry I'm not perfect,
and not the prettiest girl.
I'm sorry for my problems,
I'm sorry about the past.

I'm sorry I have issues,
yes I want to change.
I'm sorry for my mistakes,
I'm sorry I'm the one to blame.

I'm sorry I'm not the greatest,
the smartest, in your eyes.
I want to be way more,
I guess this is just life.

I'm sorry about the tears,
I'm sorry I end up crying.
I'm sorry I'm not always happy,
but just know that I am trying.

I'm sorry I'm not confident,
I'm sorry I'm a pushover.
I want to change more than anything,
don't want to be this way for ever.

I'm sorry that I have regrets,
some I just want to forget.
I'm sorry I'm not the shining star,
but I know I want to be.

As 2011 comes and begins,
A list is in order of my resolutions.
None of the writing you see,
will never again be me.

It's tiem for a change,
time for a transformation.
I know I can do it,
I jsut have to follow my heart and make the right decisions.

Have faith in yourself,
have faith in others.
Cause when you have friends,
you help one another.

I smile and keep my head up high,
it will take time but soon I will fly.
I will be that girl you all know and love,
I'll be that star that shines above.
